Is this a classic or a revamped, exciting quick paced fighter?17652

Dean Avery from Warwickshire, England says (17/Feb/2003):
The answer to that question is actually, that it's both! The coupling of the old style graphics(with a bit of manga finesse), a few of the original and best characters from all the series and with new added super combo's as in alpha, also normal combo's adds quite a challenge because they are quite hard to master with the normal punches and kicks, make this game this game one hell of a replyable game! This is not even including the EX moves, these are the more powerful special moves when you press Lk and Lp when executing them which uses up some super combo energy, 5 brand new chars, some of which are quite weird such as oro, twelve and necro! This game also has very nicely laid out menu screens and some streetfighter hip-hop boucin in the background, which all adds to the atmosphere, the soundtrack is very gud, even in game! Obviously the playability factor of this game is easy to answer, its great because it has alot of the same moves for the remaining original characters, such as Ken! I mean ask the person next to you how to do a hadouken, im sure they will know, :D ! Also in versus mode there nothing better than catching your best mate perfectly with a 15 hit super art now is there! Each fighter has a choice of three of these super-arts to choose from, some of which can be executed more times in the depletion of the charge up bar at the bottom of the screen, obviously its the choice of whether your gud at timing a nice big hitter or you need multiple tries with a less powerful combo, so again quite good for beginners! The only real problem i had at first with this game was that on the dreamcast joypad the d-pad tends to outstand from the surface of the pad, causing you to sometimes jump when trying to do uppercuts and fireballs, but that could just be me! It is quite essential to be able to hit every move quite accurately, because even on the easiest setting at first it is a very hard game to complete, i could never see me completing it on the hardest! Another thing which i loved about this was that they brought back the destroy a car with your bare fists bonus stage, only in this version its a nice 3d-ish model of an SUV, which begins to set on fire as you pummel it, great stage! The other is where you have to parry basket balls(thrown by sean, another new character), which is ok as a break from fights but nothin spectacular! I think this was one of the only things missing, a selection in the menu to play the bonus stages stand-alone style, like a time attack, with a fastest time scoreboard, be great! As for value, for the dreamcast value is brilliant, around 30 quid new, quite a game if you ask me! Well thats bout it really, thanks for reading!
