The uniforms are not new they are whatever it was in 2000. The teams are not well updated and the graphics are not great

The game has a lot of great features like on-line play, franchise, season, practice, exhibtion, and street. The graphics are good, but they are too similar to the N64 at times. All of the player look kind of exaggerated. Kobe's afro is bigger than the screen on rosters. Shaq looks like a cartoon character. Scottie Pippens nose is way too big. Iverson's corn rows are too short. I did like the unique courts like Rucker PArk, Madison Sqaure Garden, Chicago Park, Arco Arena, and the Staples Center. The create-a-player is kind of too much for me even thought it is good. The worst part of the game are the roster updates, sounds(music), and gameplay. The rosters for the 00-01 season a way too off. Some players aren't in the game and some teams have wierd line-ups. The menu music by rapper "REDMAN" is so boring. I really hate the gameplay. IF u play with the high court view, then u can deflect passes in the air which is a huge glitch. The game might freeze when u're inbounding the ball. The crossover don't work, except for the spin crossover. The dunks are too slow and boring. Ever player shoots free throws ugly. The jumpshots are too cheap. And last, the swap block is very useless because you're giving the other team more chances to score and u get the turn over. This game is cheap and corny even though it beat Live 2001's ratings.

The graphics are pretty good, and the game is realistic but just to normal. It gets boring after a while watching your player do the same dunk every time. I like it how you have many options of things to do like franchise and on-line gaming. I wish they had more like a dunking or three point competition. The ratings of the players absolutely stink. I don't believe that John Stockton is rated 80, and Jason Kidd 96. When Stockton is the all time assist, and steals leader.(Not to be rude to Kidd) The music gets boring after a while of listening to it. Creating a player needs a little more variety in the hair styles and faces. It's kind of frustrating when you are a point guard and you do a crossover and a center can steal the ball. I really enjoy playing in the street , but again, the lay ups and dunks are just too plain. Overall an average game.
