This is the second game in the soul and swords saga. It is probably the best one yet! Even though the weapon earning isn't in this one the game has a fun Mission mode where you earn pieces of artwork. You can earn up to twenty characters and you can unlock different modes so your enjoyment will be filled to the max. If your a fan or not you will enjoy this Dreamcast classic for eternities to come!

The graphics, animation, sounds.... all of them are just so very cool!! especially when u turn up the volume, play in a dark place, it very nice! people watching the game may think its in a cinema movie!! i just love soul calibur! its good for my soul!! plus, there's ivy! shes reallly gorgeous! her hair, eyes, weapon, really a beauty!

You cannot believe whatīs seen on your tv when you load the game. The graphics are near perfect, the movements are perfect, the control superb! The arenas: perfect. This game is perfect! Soul Calibur was one of the launch titles for the Dreamcast in 9/9/99, and any 3D fighter game after this got better. Virtua Fighter 3TB itīs a real shame compared to this one. Remember Soul Edge for the PlayStation? Well, this is the game after it. There are a lot of modes to play, very interesting the "carrer mode" where you must do specific task or moves with other fighters (some of them are teachers of you) to unlock new mini-quest. The points earned can be used to unlock 2d game art and the interest in the game never became low. Tekken 3 is for the Playstation. Soul Calibur is for Dreamcast. If you own this console, get this game right now!

Soul Calibur is good although i played much better before. Its better than every other fighting game except for Tekken 3, but in this you can use weapons. I think you should try it out you might like it.
