A great game for everyone who has the word BMX inscrided on the inside of their heads | | Bobby from England says (21/Feb/2003): | For those of you who haven't got the faciliitys of a skate park and want to go pro on BMX this is the game for you. Create massive combos with grinds and manuals galore. Or for those of you who are budding designers like me you can create your own skate park and then ride the ramps in it on sindle session mode. Or go on free play mode to brush up on you tricks. Or for those posers out there you can watch your replays in slow motion and watch your self go soaring into the air, back flipping all the way if you are Cory Nastazio. Then reap your rewards as you watch your biker's video if you have won a medal in both competitions. Impress your friends or have a tournament in two player mode to find the true BMX champion. (No offence Mat.) All your favourite bikers including Tabron, Nastazio, Hoffman, and Kowalski. A great sound track including Pennywise Bad Brains and more! So if this hasn't tempted you then I do not know what will. So ride those ramps and TRICK! TRICK! TRICK!
| The Dreamcast version should be better | | EXTREME SPORTS MASTER from FLORIDA says (22/Sep/2002): | The Dreamcast and PSONE versions are almost identicle. Which isnt a bad thing, I mean the PSONE version was very fun but the Dreamcast is capibal of much, much more. While its not quite a Tony Hawks Pro Skater type of expeirence, its a good game in its own rights. Quickly you will notice how easy it is to pull off tricks and do special moves that are off da hook! It has some pretty good levels, while some look crappy due to the PSONES jaggies. Matter o'fact, the graphics arent perfect, but they're alright for PSONE. If you want the best BMX game on Playstation, look no further. If you liked this you will also like: Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 1, 2, Maximum Remix, BMX XXX,
| The stuff on Hoffman | | Aaron O'Neal from Denham Springs, Louisiana, USA says (5/Mar/2002): | I think Mat Hoffman Pro BMX was a pretty good game. It is just like Tony Hawks's Pro Skater, except it is for the BMX fan. They got some good people to choose from. The graphics meet up to the need of any sports fan. I liked Tony Hawk's game, I think I like Mat Hoffman's game better. I think the moves are cooler on Mat Hoffman's than Tony Hawk's. It's more exciting I think it is a more challenging game than THPS, it's moves are just cooler. I thought THPS was Da bomb but this is much better. If you played it on Playstation you will see an enhancement of graphics. It is because it is played on the Dreamcast. I think Dreamcast is better. Controls are very easy to get, not much to them. Gameplay is also very good , I like the objectives. Sound features a lot of Band's and FX sound is good.If you play the game too long you will get bored. If you don't use cheat codes it should be a very long game. It pretty much came from THPS gameplay etc. so it really isn't that original of a game. Trick combinations aren't that hard.In conclusion I think MHPBMX is a great game and should be tried by THPS or BMX lovers.
