GREAT | | A gamer from fake says (5/Jun/2005): | I have played this game for 3 years now. I still can't get enough of it! I have masterd the game, but I guess I can't play as the pharoah walker. Anyhow, this game has tons more items I have to search for, so that's what I am doing. My friends say it's better than Budakai 1-3. I guess I can agree on that about 50 or 60 %.

The lifespan of this game is still being discovered by me. The graphics bring out all of the Dreamcast's potential as does the sound. If you have some friends over or are going to your friend's, bust out this game. This is the Halo of Dreamcast. It's chaotic multiplayer is hectic and fun at the same time. Just like Halo, Powerstone's multiplayer is the highlight of the game. The only thing that's frusterating(wrong spelling) about this game is trying to obtain the hundreds and hundreds of items in the game. It is nearly impossible to obtain the items by fusing two items together, for there are hundreds and thousands of possible combonations to use. But that is the sole amount of depth in the game. The single player is a tad bit short, but the origional option saves it all. That enables you to challenge yourself against three computer opponents at the same time. The arcade gets repetitive though, as does the adventure mode. However, despite these minor flaws, Powerstone 2 is a perfect game.
| this game is amazing and so original! | | Dean Avery from Warwickshire, England says (6/Apr/2003): | first off, i got this game this time last year and i still love playin and still havent got everthin, there are hundreds of items and weapons, alot of which have a certain comedic value that just dont come across in other games, for example a giant thumtack which pricks your opponents feet, a giant tennis racket which you can bounce your foe off the walls with or just smack 'em with a huge frozen tuna.It has a wide range of characters, from your big muscle guys, to your fast ninja types to your comedy ill hit you with a frying pan bloke, :D(its a hilarious game) and the best thing is you get to share the laughs with 3 other peeps! its so hectic as theres so much stuff goin on on the screen, not to mention the active stages where you can fall down holes, get ran over by indiana jones-like boulders, skydive a couple of thousand feet while bashin your opponents in mid air, miss lifts which take you to higher levels on the stage, get in turrets, tanks and bomb dropping aircrafts, and also use huge catapults to throw rocks at your opponents!
The bosses are also spectacular stages, working with a mate to bash apart these mammoth enemies either using arrays of weapons or your power fusion attacks! these power fusions are basically what the whole game strategy is centered around, grab three power stones and you transform into your characters perception of a superman or woman, and are then able to pull off insanely devestating attack by which i mean hittin everything around you hard, either shootin out a hundred man sized missiles or either hittin your enemy a couple of times then smacking them high in the air with some kind of raging fire dragon attack! each characters has two of these power fusion attacks!
the last thing is this is an amazing party game, i even remember us all screamin our heads off when we one a new item in the roulette game in the item shop, lol!

| incredible | | oot loot from Oakville, Canada says (4/Apr/2003): | gourmand is my hero. he is the greatest player of all time, and i have one other thing. the game is incredibly random. The dialougue is hilarious! "Crush Blow!" "I don't believe it! It's an alien!!" and others are so random. Pete's powerstone firing squad is the most deadly powerstone (with the exception of Accel's spiked motorbike) and hitting people with a giant pole is the funniest thing ever. My final conclusion is that the big yellow cat is random. Just like my review.

I play all the time especially i always used Rouge. But for Ayame the coolest style there is of course she is the ninja. By the way Wangtang and Ryoma is my favorite boy character. And to Wangtang, he is a sort of Goku of Dragonball Z.

The characters Falcon (The Japanese-speaking British Airman), Accel and Pride have the ability to shootmissiles and projectiles when "Super-charged", doing much damage if the missiles find their target. Gunrock and Galuda are the large characters, able to crush opponents easily. Other characters include Pete, a small boy who turns into a robot; Ayame, a girl who throws boomerang-like blades; Julia, a girl who may "Crucify You" and make you part of her "Carousel Of Death"; and many others (but they really are not important). The levels include a space station; a desert area, a submarine / iceberg area; a tomb; a Japanese castle; and a flying fortress.
