What kind of game is this? |
| jhaycob from philippines says (13/Dec/2002): |
at first i thought this game rules the boards but suddenly i realized that it only contains the grafix that gave the game its good visual content.this game is like a game for a mere child. the grafix is good but the content sucks.

fantastic |
| Stewart Greenwell from Co.Durham says (7/Oct/2002): |
this is an incredible game it really shows what the dreamcast was capable of doing. The storyline could be made into a movie it was so good.

bad game |
| monk from rochester(NY), usa says (1/Oct/2002): |
i thought head hunter was one of the worst game i ever played. for a game called head hunter there is not nearly enough killing, shooting and fighting. its more just your running around looking for those little red arrows. the controls suck too along with the camera angles. also the saving in the middle of a board, it doesint save where you were it puts u back to a certian point. it has a good plot for a game it just isint. the motorcycile sucks too.

great graphics and story terrible controls |
| A gamer from kansas says (20/Jun/2002): |
I thought this game had great graphics. The facial expressions and textures really put you in the game. However the controls and aiming are bad due to the camera controls. You have to manually change camera angles when turning around corners or sometimes just moving. while this can be good it gets really annoying when you're in a gun fight with enemys. You find yourself getting shot without being able to see who it is until later. I felt the story was cool. I like the training but riding the motorcycle is annoying because you can't control the bike when you speed up and find yourself running into things at first until you get going.

Game of the new era |
| Mathew from Toronto Ont. says (8/Jun/2002): |
This game is defintnitly a game of the 2002 era. Not only is this game good it is on almost all the possible systems out today. The graphics are realistic and refreshing. Gameplay wise it will take more than one week of solid playing to beat. You have to do missions and you also drive your motorcycle to get a better license each time. Sound is good as the gun shots and the cars sound real. The only bad thing about sound is that when you crash it makes a wired sound. Lifespan is good but you have to be able to do the missions and if your a person who dosen't have patience this game is not for you. But for everybody who love shooting gmes go buy it because it is the game of our new era!

Good graphics! Strange Interface! |
| Michael burdess from Co durham, UK says (18/May/2002): |
Head hunter is graphically very stuning and has some good FMV sequences. The story of the game is that of a vigilany or bounty hunter that was once a police officer. Throughout the game you develope and understanding of the characters and the environment. The main objections I have with the game is that like Metal Gear Solid the training missions are set in a Virtual Reality environment which I think has been done to death in these types of games and they should really find a new way of doing it. Also the control system is very temprimental for example you can be kneeling down behind a car and still get shot by your enemy as the bullets actually by some bug manage to go through objects. Also when on the motorbike when you accelerate the bike rears up and you cannot steer. Overall though I give Head Hunter a rating of very good and if you like games like Metal Gear Solid with a mixture of the fighting style of Shenmue then go buy it.
