For one who was never keen on consoles, Shenmue opened my eyes to the gaming world. It's not only realistic with its spectacular graphics but the game play is fantastic. This game's sound quality is also good, the speech is perfect and the sound effects and music make the game seem so real.The use of the controls are easily picked up when searching for objects in Ryo's house at the beginning of the game. When controlling Ryo through the streets thee is adventure round every corner. This high quality game never left me twiddling my thumbs especially with them quick action Q.T.E's, and with the notebook you always know to be at the right time. This will give you enough time to check out the arcades and time to buy some capsule toys, with a job as a forklift driver at the harbour there's always time to train and master the moves. The characters make the game so life like and there detailed features are amazing each individual has there own look and personality. The storyline is really gripping it's an adventure that i would recommend to anyone. To find out about the storyline you'll have to experience this adventure with your own eyes.

This was a extremely-hyped game when it first came out, and it was met with mixed results. Some people praised it's graphics, sound and cinimatics. Others criticised it for being too slow, unapealing and a beast to control. I am in between these two groups, because I love the graphics, sound and story, but the control and downtime are sometimes painful. I think this game doesn't have what it takes to be a classic, but I would be wrong if I didn't say it was expertly made in almost everything. If you have ADD, then this game isn't for you. But if you have patience and love a good story, then purchase this game without skeptisism. This game is running for about fifteen dollars, so if your like me don't be a critic. just play it and enjoy it.

the grphics are so real.the day my father brought the game home and i tried it i knew it would be a great game.the sound affecs are awesome.you can play games in this game!the music on ryo's cd player are awesome!i like the rap song.the forklifts are fun. i beat the game but it took me a long time.the story is awesome.it had a great ending.the first time i played it i asked myself i wonder if there will be a #2. there was one.i played the game for hours.my father helped beat it too.i like the fight against 70 guys fight.it was a hard game but a really fun game.i hope a 3 4 and 5.come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not a game, more like an experincence, it has changed my life and I am sure it has changed others, if this game is not good, I don't know wat is. The story gets you hooked and you can't stop playing, I hope they bring 50 of them out, it will still entertain me. It can not get any better than this.

This game is the best game EVER!!!! Everyone who says this game isnt the best is a liar! You will never experiance such a good story or graphics on this kind o console! From the moment I started this game to the moment I finished I couldnt put the controller down!! A MUST BUY!!!!!!!
