Great military strategy game with challenging missions and relistic combat | | Brian from Houston, Texas, USA says (4/Jun/2002): | Hidden and Dangerous combines great military strategy scenarios with realistic combat effects. When first starting, the game can be quite difficult in terms of key configuration, but after minimal practice, key manipulation becomes second nature. on a scale of 1 to 10, control ease runs about a 5. In terms of the realism of combat in the game, it rates 8. the amount of knowledge needed in combat plays a big factor in your success in the game. the realism of combat situations, like stalking snipers, quietly ambushing patrols, and weapons use, are so accurate, that one would have to have been in the actual military to immediately do well in the game. Paying attention to mission briefings in critical to avoid doing poorly in the field. The game also goes so far as to include actual german language from enemies. any World War Two enthusiast will find the suspense of this combat game very enjoyable. it offers suspense, but not at the price of organization. many other games offer great suspensful situations like Hidden and Dangerous that require quick thinking and action, but those other games often make you think too fast and your actions are unorganized and not fun. Hidden and Dangerous offers situations that dont compile too rapidly, so you can still have fun and intelligently negotiate rapid solutions. For tips and advice, give me an email.
