A new twist on an old favorite. | | Cameron from MA USA says (12/Oct/2003): | I'm sure that you all have heard about Resident Evil. Am I right? Well, this almost follows that storyline. Almost.
Here's the scoop. You are Gattsu. You are one of the last remaining fighters from the Hawks, a killing organization. You are on a cliffside one day, and you are attacked by doznes of people. Then, you remember your 7-foot sword, the Dragons Slayer. Need I go on?
So, the "thing" of the game is: You gotta defeat a bunch of possessed people, and beat a big guy. Sound familiar? I'm not saying that it's a plain old game, because it isn't. The cool part is, theres no script. Nothing to read! Finally, the character have clear speech. Oh yea.
But, for some gamers who like the hardcore, nonstop "Hack n' Slash", I wouldn't suggest this game. Why? Because there is too much movie! You spend more than 1/3 of the game watching... the game! There's really no other way to put it. You watch. And watch some more. Then you play. Repeat. So, that's why i gave this game a 9. It's only a warning. But, this game is one of the best M rated games ever! Plenty of blood and gore, and beautiful graphics. Have fun!
