This game is AMAZING!! It has great graphics. You feel like you are underwater. Beautiful settings in the beginning. The noise sounds real.
You can die as many times as you want. You get to see what it is like being a dolphin.
It is really fun being able to jump out of the water and do tricks.

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Furture was a tough game that is very challenging. My first thought when I started the game was "those graphics are great!". It has a good storyline which is orginal and creative. The first stage is pretty easy but don't be fooled by this as when you get to the coral reef things start to get a little harder and a bit creepy. You have to fight sharks which are very annoying little bests and pihranas so always be on your guard in this game!
The graphics are probably one of the best parts of ecco, unfortunately I don't think they are as good above water but underwater real feels like underwater! The sound is good and you don't notice it alot but when you do notice it is ok but sega could have done better. The gameplay is great I loved it though sometimes it did get a bit dull and I just wanted to get on with my task. Lifespan lets just say you could be 40 and still trying to complete ecco (if that isn't good enough for you then what is). This game was fun fun FUN I had the time of my life playing it. Very orginal who else has done a story on a dolphin swimming trying to save the world well who? It was quite expensive but should be cheaper now.
Over all it was great fun YOU MUST BUY THI GAME!
