The problem I faced while playing this game was that it seems too dull. Every moment of the ame seemed depressing. Being a resident Evil game this factor can make the game good, but not compleatly through out the game. The story also seemed too sad making it unbareble to play once again. This probaly is to do with the fact that the rocket luancher is so hard to get. I mean how can you prevent yourself from using healing items and to make things worse arn't alowed to save. Particually when facing the tryant and not gatting hit by alexander. Also it just seems to me that the battle mode has no effect on the main game, making it pointless to play. Comapered with the latest edition of the resident evil series the graphics where disappointing and dull. When the character are walking with a wepon they point it downwards as if they don't know where they are. As in the remake the characters actually look like the're prepared for whatever's to come. Again the number of wepons and ammunition is sparse. Which is okay if the charcters are able to defend themselves without taking damage. The only advantage of this game is basically the love and compasion between Chris and Clair and in some cases Steve and Clair. Even then Steve still dies. So let me ask you who likes a depressing ending? Ununique game play? Annoying music? A striagh foward storyline? And a game that lacks extra features? I certainly don't.

Ugh! This game wasn't hard, but it was practically just like every other RE game.
The graphics were fine, the gameplay was fine too, but the cutscenes were terribly done. Steve looked like DiCaprio and sounded like a girl (EEEEE! Help Meeeeee!), maybe thats why Claire liked him so much, she felt safe around his feminine presence. It sure wasn't his personal charisma or that "dont depend on others, though i do several times" attitude.
The replayability, unlike other RE games, was limited. There were no alternate games aside from "Battle Mode" which was more like a Thank You for beating the game rather than an extra game. If one were REALLY inclined toward beating all aspects of this new mode, it would only add an hour or so to the game's length.
The only complaint i have with any RE game is that they all end with umbrella getting away with murder. It seems they all wind up with one of the characters saying "well... looks like i need more evidence to convict umbrella". This is where i scratch my head, all these documents just laying about, each signed by some umbrella bigshot, saying stuff like "This new virus makes walking dead" and is signed by one of the umbrella president-type people, and they dont count as evidence? come now...

I have played almost all of the Resident Evil games, and I have to say that this is the best one out off all the ones I have played. The part of the game that I like most are the characters. I love the character, Steve, I love his additude in the beginning, and how it changes as you go through the game. Although I can't help but feel sorry for him throughout most of the game. I refuse to reviel why because I know that there are some people reading this review that haven't played the game yet. Since I don't like it when people spoil parts of games for me I refuse to give out any more information about it. Sorry if you are displeased.
I also enjoy the puzzles you must solve in order to get through. The graphics, in my opinion, are the best out of all the game. The films I like the most are the ones where they show close ups of Clare's eyes. They look so real. It's as if the characters are real people, and not just computer graphics.
Another thing I love about the game is the fact that you don't play just a singls character, but all of them.
Glad to have been able to give my opinion about the game. Hope that you enjoyed this review, and I hope that you will enjoy the game.

This is the best ever game i have ever played! It is all out awesome! The storyline is awesome and the characters are cool! At first I didn't like Steve because he was never there when i needed him! But as the game went on I started to love Steve the most! The monsters are cool. I love the way they look all funky and deformed.. I mean it has some scary looking monsters. The game is the best of the series and everything looks almost real. I mean if it was any better it would have to be a movie, man! So like I was saying It is so cool that we get to travel all around! You dont do to much of that in the other games. There are also some really tough puzzles... finally a real challenge instead of a kidde game! I mean dont get me wrong the other games are ok but this blows all of the others out of the water! I cant thnk of one part of the game i didnt like! I just keep playing it over and over agian!

Many people think and are stating that this Resident Evil Game was the best. Well, it wasnt. Compared to RE2s and RE3s storyline of gold, the storyline of this game was, mabey a Bronze. The story line was ok, but the gameplay, and sequences were bad. The map was too big, the many many doors were too confusing, and the monsters... what can be said about the monsters... the were ugly, had only one arm, and were seemingly invincible. And to the creaters, long range zombies were a dumb and innefective idea to adding enjoyment in the RE series... And Im getting tired of claire, why isnt their a name of Chris!? Claire had NOTHING to do with the original storyline... Chris WAS the origional storyline (with the exception of Jill). Afterall, id say this is a good game, but not a must have. this is one of those games ud wanna rent instead of own.

I would firstly have to say that overall Code Veronica X was just a good game.It has pretty good replayability,but it lacks something as well.The characters were good too.Like,Claire,Wesker,Chris and Alexia.They had good character developments.The sounds of the music and voice actors were fine too.There are some like Rodrigo,who was superb and others somewhat like Steve needed a little more work.I liked the 3D graphics and the enemies were average.The bosses were fairly easy as well.The gameplay wasn't too bad,but it could do better.The controls could be a little confusing the first time,but it isn't a bother once you get used to them.The storyline was the best...it matches this category.If things were each a little improved,then I would have to say that it could do better than all the series,though it was good.

I dont know why there was so much fuss about this game - its good but for me does not match up to its prequals, and especially pails in comparison to Resident Evil 2. For a start the graphics are actually poorer. Whilst its nice that they appear in 3D they are comparitively sparse and the fog in open spaces makes it look dull rather than adding atmosphere. Secondly this is not a hard game. Why everyone keeps saying this is harder than the other games is beyond me - I had it beat in a weekend (whilst Resi 2 and 3 both took me upwards of a week) and theres little in the way of replayability.
So its a bit of a dissapointment but is still a good game and worth your money if you can find it second hand - just dont get too excited about the prospect.

i though this game was great. I loved the variety o different monsters and tougher game play. I like the change of charachters a well. Playing with claire was great. Shes a favorite character of mine...since RE2. Jills ok. But anyway...playing with chris and steve was also fun. I thought it would have been fun to play as wesker too. But hes a a bad guy so it wouldnt really make any sense o the game After all everyone is fighting against Umbrella..not for that sinister corporation. I have just one question. Who is D.I.J???????

This game bites butt. The graphics were worse than re1. The puzzles were for kindergardeners. The story put me to sleep. It wasn't even scary. I killed the worm with my knife. The enemes woud have done better sleeping. I beat the game in 2 hours 30 minutes on hard mode with clair and chris with an a rank. I beat battle mode with wesker using no healing items. Got a rank a with everyone in battle without any healing items. But i did have enemies and there isn't negative numbers so i gave it a 1.

i dont understand why everybody thaught it was so good it was stupid the only cool thing about the game is the timeing of the monsters but everything else sucked it took me 3 days to beat it in witch re 2 took me 1 month i just dont understand why everbody else thaugt it was cool why why why and why cant you play with a black person im white but i dont understand why there cant be a seven foot black guy named Jamal henderson or something like that.

Im a die hard RE fan and RE CVX was better then RE 4. I like Alexia in this game I wish you can use her on battle mode. you only get battle mode after finishing the game. My best grade is a B. I cant get an A on my ranking, it's hard. I also like Chris Redfield, he is cool cause he fights alexia's transformation and you use the linar Lancher, unlimeted ammo, that's so cool, who else is a big fan of RE.

resident evil:code veronica is the best game i have ever played because the sound is so chilling that you can almost feel that the Tyrant or Nosferatu is right behind you in actuallity.the graphics are superb and the camera shifts and views are the best i have ever seen by far.this game has it all! score another one for the greatest game team around. CAPCOM.

I don't know why you other people were saying this game isn't good. You must be sick of RE to begin with. I thought it was great, more scary, and more challenging. RE2 and 3 were EASY .. this had more depth and graphic detail which I loved.. don't get me wrong, RE2 and 3 were great to. but this is a great game!

This game is the best Resident Evil game i have ever played. Its scarier than all of the games and the most hardest also. This game is mainly for adults but teenagers also like this game not because of the gore or any thing like that but because its very challenging and very scary.

I love this game. It is so cool. The grapics are great and the story line is wonderful. I love how in the game you can be Wesker. He is my favorite character out of all the Resident Evil games. He is really cool. That is why I gave it all ten stars.

This has to be the greatest Resident Evil of all time. The Graphics, the plot, the enemys, everything in this game is perfect. The wepons could use just a little work though. Veronica is always scared an she barely ever talks.

this game is okay but it dose not take a long time to beat i play about 1 hour a day and its been about a week the game is good but not great But the plot is good and the controls are easy so I would give it a eight out of ten
